Join us for our 2026 Vacation Church Camp! We look forward to hosting our preschool to 8th graders for a faith and fun filled week, August 10-14, 2026, 9am-noon each day. Activities will include:
-Learning more about the Feastdays of Christ, including the Transfiguration
-Arts & Crafts connected to our theme
-Fun time playing at the park/splash pad and in the gym
-Snacks and camper shirt included! Registration will cost $20/camper, with a cap of $50/family.
Join us for St. Andrew’s three-part Summer Series, “Focus on the August Feasts.” This Series is led by Rev. Dr. Simeon Johnson, Ph.D.
Each week’s session will begin at 7:30pm in St. Andrew’s President’s Room.

Join us for the Annual Edgewater Pet Blessing, Sunday, August 31, 2026. All are welcome to join us for Vespers (5pm), Pet Blessing (6pm), followed by refreshments (for guests and pets). Join us on the front entrance of the main church (right at the SE corner of Hollywood and Sheridan).
No RSVP needed | meet at the Main Church front stairs.
Our Parish Council is happy to announce the annual St. Andrew’s Parish Golf Outing will be held on Thursday, September 3rd, 2026 at Chevy Chase Golf Club in Wheeling, IL. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch. The golf scramble will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. with a shotgun start. Afterwards, there will be a wonderful dinner buffet and raffle to follow.
Individuals can sign up to play golf and/or bring a foursome to play. The donation to play golf is $180 a person or $720 for a foursome. The golf registration fees include: a round of golf, the cart, lunch, gifts, prizes, and a buffet dinner with two complimentary drink tickets.
Join us at St. Andrew’s with Iconographer, Artist, and Author Rip Kastaris for a seminar on Byzantine Iconography. The day will include teaching, demonstration and reflection on the beauty, tradition, and spiritual power of sacred images.
The $25 registration will include three sessions with Rip, a continental breakfast, and lunch.
All parishes are invited to join the Clergy of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago as they bless the Waters of Lake Michigan then throw the Cross for the youth to retrieve. There will be a BBQ lunch at Saint Andrew’s to follow.
