  • Orthodoxy 101

St. Andrew’s Orthodoxy 101 is designed to serve both as a Catechism course for those preparing to join the Orthodox Church and as class for the faithful and those interested to deepen their knowledge of Orthodox Christianity. It begins with a focus on Holy Tradition and its component parts (Bible, Councils, Fathers, Worship, Saints, Canon Law, etc.) and moves on to explore the Faith and Practice in Orthodoxy. Emphasis will be placed on the Nicene Creed and Ecumenical Councils, Sacraments, Worship and the liturgical year, and Orthodox Christian life. This course lasts seven weeks and is offered both in the Fall and the Spring, at 6pm, on Wednesdays, both live and online. Special arrangements can be made. The precise schedule can be found on our parish calendar. To register, contact Fr. Simeon Johnson below.
